Hello, a little about myself. I'm 27, loves a variety of things, usually likes to draw on my free time, and has a major love for animations of many kinds, from 80's to 90's, and a lot on anime, though for my heavy influence and top love would be the wonderful Elfquest series done by Wendy and Richard Pini, and the main influence on driving my mind wild when I was really young would be the Sonic series, mainly SATAM and for Archie comics, the Knuckles story arcs in the late 90's I love to chat, and wouldn't mind rping with some people, just let me know where you've heard from me.
Ok, and another thing about my gallery, occasionally I will not just draw art in general, a lot of it might contain suggestive themes, such as dark themes, yaoi, and would ask a lot of people not to freak out on me on the terms, I understand certain sequences are offensive, yet I do keep fantasy and reality separate and others should as well.
Best classic anime, anyone? posted Nov 15th 2011, 12:20PM

Just being random with a journal entery
I say my favirote in my teenage years was The Slayers. I remember how back in the days when buying an issue of Tokyo pop they were doing an advertisement for the first movie, and for a while I just got a kinda bad impression about it and didn't think it was anything I would care for. http://www.anime.com/Slayers/images/movie-poster.jpg
Then a month or two after I was in a local comic shop and they had the first two issues and on the first cover it had Gourry holding Lina, and well...I then got curious because it was more intriguing looking than the film plus I kinda thought Gourry was cute holding her like that. http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/mm400/Georidas/slayers0006ll.jpg And with pretty much on what I've read, I actually found the story kinda cute.
Then a little after I took collecting volumes of the VHS series here and there, I only had volume 7 to season 1, volume 1,2,7,8 to Slayers next and....1,2,4, and 8 of Slayers try...our malls rocked, they just wouldn't have them out in order lol, thank god for the complete dvd boxsets plus youtube. And when I finally got to see the first movie, I was actually ok with it. As a matter of fact, I took the first one a lot more interesting than the other four-five? mainly because of the plot behind if and hints of Gourry's ancestry, and and get me wrong, I do like the other movies that followed after, they just didn't really seem as epic as the first one and the last one kinda took some adjusting to, since normally I would be hyped up with Lina and company from the series being in a film together but when ADV dubbed it at the time they had a different cast on voice actors, though I swore they did get Zelgodis's back, and Lina's voice for the films I mainly imagined for her being a year or two younger before the met Gourry and company. But lately has been in a nostalgia mood and pulled the first three seasons from my shelf and going through episodes, at some point I'm gonna get caught up with Revolution and Evolution-R. ^o^
